Dr. Ashley was born and raised in Conrad, Iowa. After graduation from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009, she started working at Animal Clinic - The Vet in Marshalltown. She has stayed at that same location since 2009, building a strong attachment to the Marshalltown community. She is excited to now open a new practice within that same building to bring quality affordable pet care to all her clients, both previous and new! When she is not working, she is spending time with her husband Brian and their two daughters, Eden and Tenley. Both girls are very active in highly competitive travel softball and keep their parents extremely busy! They also have a perfectly adorable chocolate lab named Ripley.

Dr. Rachael grew up in West Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated with an Animal Science degree in 2016 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2020, both from Iowa State University. She has a special interest in ultrasound and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Schaaf and her husband have chickens, a cockatiel, and a standard poodle at home.

Dr. Lindsey was born and raised in Marshalltown. After graduating from Iowa State University in 2017, she and her husband Nathan moved back to their hometown. Dr Bloomquist has a special interest in acupuncture and exotics. She shares a crazy busy home with two little boys and a baby girl, two dogs, two cats and a gecko.

Marianne has been a veterinary assistant since 2005. She grew up in Waverly, Iowa and earned her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa. She and her husband live in Marshalltown with their cat Augustus and their miniature dachshund Fritz.

Kathleen is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She grew up here in Marshalltown and graduated from DMACC with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2014. She returned to Marshalltown to work and enjoys getting to help care for all the pets, but especially the more unusual pets. Her favorite to assist with are birds!  In her free time, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her dogs, cats, and pet rats.

Madison is a Customer Service Representative and Veterinary Assistant. Madison went to Marshalltown Community College and graduated with an Associate’s degree. While in college, she started her veterinary career as a kennel attendant and worked her way up to her current dual roles. Madison has been in the veterinary field for 6 years now and loves every second of it!  In 2014, she started a hospice cattery for terminally ill and/or special needs cats. She currently has three dogs: Chocolate Chip Cookie Bear, a chow chow; Bao Bao the Chow Chow; and Mozarella Cheese Moose, a saint bernard. In her free time, she enjoys reading a good book, walking the dogs around town, or spending time with her cats.

Kristen began her veterinary career journey in 2014 as an intern at Perry Creek Animal Hospital in Sioux City. During her freshman year of college she started at Animal Clinic - The Vet in Marshalltown, where her lifelong passion for helping animals truly flourished. She now has over a decade of experience in veterinary medicine in Marshalltown. Kristen’s love for animals extends beyond the clinic walls. As a proud mom and cottage bakery business owner, she brings her nurturing spirit and creativity to everything she does. Kristen has two dogs, a horse, and chickens. Whether she is tending to her garden, baking delicious treats, or spending quality time with her husband and children, her devotion to her family is ever-present.
